School presented with flags

Umina Beach Public School was presented with new Australian, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island flags from Member for Robertson, Ms Lucy Wicks, in a school assembly on Friday, May 13.

Ms Wicks donated the three new flags after the school approached her to supply a Torres Strait Island flag for its newest flag pole.

The new flag pole was purchased with funds raised from various initiatives by the 2015 Year 6 class.
