Arts grants winners will show their work

Recent winners of Bouddi Foundation for the Arts grants will be showcased in an afternoon of art displays, films, and music.

The showcase will take place at Wagstaffe Hall on Sunday, June 19, from 2pm.

Each year the Foundation awards grants to local young people to further their artistic pursuits.

Winners from the last few years will show how they have used their grants, and what they have achieved since receiving them.

Musicians will perform, artists and photographers will display works, and filmmakers will show a short film.

Performers will include Empire Bay writer Ashleigh Mounser, Killcare Heights artist Jordan Richardson, filmmaker Alice Appel of Ettalong Beach, Pretty Beach violinist Miriam Jones, Umina Beach musician writer and poet Leslie Gagau, singer songwriter Natasha Marshall of Woy Woy, and Umina opera singer Tiana Young.

Tickets will be $15 for adults, $12 members, $5 children.
