School partners with Men's Shed
Ettalong Public School has partnered with the Ettalong Men's Shed to offer a five-week woodworking program for students.
The trial program will see 10 boys in Year 6 learn the basics of woodworking from the men from the Men's Shed.
The initiative aims to foster more diverse connections between the school and the Ettalong community.
Throughout the five-week project, the boys will undertake their own woodwork project and work with members of the Men's Shed.
The school hopes to offer the program to more students in the future.
