Art show to be staged over three days
Umina Beach Public School's art show will be staged over three days, starting with an opening night on August 26, and continuing over the weekend.
The exhibition will show the artistic talents of both the students and many local artisans.
"The students have been busy designing and creating their artworks and are extremely proud of their efforts," said relieving principal Mr Paul Farrugia.
Students have created either a artswork in two or three dimensions and these will be proudly displayed in the school hall.
Alongside the students' artworks, there will be a selection of talented local artists' works.
These artworks will be available for viewing and to be purchased all weekend.
The art show opening night celebration will begin at 7pm.
Tickets are $20 for the night and can be purchased either at the door or beforehand at the school's office.
Guests will enjoy a selection of canapes and drinks and will be in the draw for a lucky door prize.
Artworks are also available for sale on the night.
The doors will then re-open from 10am to 3pm on the Saturday and Sunday, with a gold coin donation gaining entry to the exhibition.
There will also be light refreshments available for purchase over the course of the weekend.
