Students helped with tree planting

Fifteen students from Umina Beach Public School took part in the recent community street planting day in Brisbane Ave, Umina.

The planting day was a community-organised project that was funded by a Central Coast Council grant.

The students helped with digging holes and planting 10 mature native trees along the nature strip to improve the look of the street and provide shade for the footpath.
