Donation to The Web

Brisbane Water Bridge Club has donated $3000 to the Web Youth Services.

It was presented at the Brisbane Water Bridge Club Christmas party in December last year.

Web Youth Services will use the money to replace stolen equipment and will provide a range of social experiences to disadvantaged youth on the Peninsula.

The Bridge Club, which operates out of the Peninsula Community Centre, raised the money through raffles, commissioned trading tables and card making and selling.

Some members also hosted bridge days at home to raise funds.
