Results released
St John the Baptist Catholic Primary School has received an "excellent result" following the release of the Year 3 and Year 5 National Assessment Program in Literacy and Numeracy results, according to principal Mr Frank Cohen.
Mr Cohen said the school was "above the national average on every measure except for Year 5 spelling where it was on par and for Year 3 writing where we were way above even the Diocesan average which is an excellent result".
"Individually the growth shown by many of our Year 5 students from Year 3 was very pleasing.
"As yet it is unknown how our schools compare to similar and local schools," said Mr Cohen.
