Stupid suggestion

I have been living on the Peninsula for 32 years and the most stupid suggestion I have heard residing in this beautiful part of the coast is the proposal of a McDonalds outlet on Ocean Beach Rd.

My first concern is the traffic that is, under normal holiday conditions, a worry.

My second concern is the rezoning of residential land to business.

My third concern is regarding the effect on the great range of food outlets already first class.

As for the job opportunities, yes that is always important and I only hope that jobs lost at other outlets in the area would not be a result of McDonalds being allowed to go ahead with this prospect.

There are so many disadvantages for our area if this was allowed to go ahead including waste and traffic.
