Student recognised by Parks service
Students from the Brisbane Water Secondary College Support Unit have been awarded with certificates from the National Parks and Wildlife Service.
National Parks representative Mr Alan Henderson presented the students with certificates for "their fantastic efforts and enthusiasm" in their outdoor education program last term.
As part of the program, students participated in activities such as kayaking, abseiling, bushwalking and boating along the Hawkesbury River.
During these adventures the group also picked up and disposed of rubbish that had washed up on the shoreline.
