Rain falls in the first week
The year has started with 45mm rainfall in the first week of the year, according to figures supplied by Mr Jim Morrison of Woy Woy.
Average rainfall for January is 132.4mm.
Last year finished with a total 1597mm, 29.7 per cent above the annual average of 1231.1mm.
The December rainfall was 103.4mm, 20.8 per cent above the December average of 85.6mm.
Temperatures in December ranged from an overnight minimum of 12.7 degrees on December 4 to a maximum of 28.0 on December 26, according to figures from www.peninsulaweather.info.
Average minimum for the month was 16.8. The average maximum was 22.5 degrees.
Highest minimum was 20.1 on Christmas Day. Lowest maximum was 18.8 on December 5.
Highest wind gust for the month was 30.2 km/h on December 4.
