Team makes softball finals
Umina Public School's softball team has received a certificate for making the finals of the School Knockout Competition.
Over 300 schools entered the competition and Umina won five games to make it into the final round.
The other schools to make it to the finals were Coffs Harbour - Naranga Public School, Wagga Wagga - Sturt Public School and Orange - Bletchingly Public School.
Due to the rain the finals were cancelled and could not be rescheduled because of the distances these schools would have had to travel.
Consequently no champion school was declared and all four schools were awarded certificates.
