Most indifferent?
Peter Whiteman's argument is flawed (Peninsula News, 6 Feb).
Unless he, or other McDonalds' supporters, can submit a petition of local folk with more signatures supporting the franchise in Umina than the approximate 1500 that do not, any assertion that the majority of people are in support of this enterprise, is pure speculation.
If by some chance, the number of supporters and detractors were not significantly different, this would mean that most people are indifferent about the issue.
