Free group fitness training sessions

A Peninsula fitness business will celebrate its first birthday with a free "festival of fun and fitness".

The "festival" will run until August 20, enabling Peninsula residents to enjoy free group fitness training sessions every morning and afternoon from Monday to Thursday near Umina Beach surf club.

"I have had a wonderful first year of business and I want to celebrate with my loyal clients as well as give new members a chance to try my group trainings and see how much fun fitness can be," Smooth Running owner Ms Amanda Falvey said.

"I will be giving away some great prizes each day which have been donated from local supporting businesses."

Prizes include cookbooks, hair and beauty vouchers, restaurant vouchers, nutrition and hypnotherapy coaching sessions, and some Smooth Running health and wellness packages.

Ms Falvey said her health, wellness and fitness service attracted clients over 60, mums and babies and everyone in between.

"It is all about fun, friendship and natural health."
