Sherriff selected for SA series

Aron Sherriff from Ettalong Bowling Club has been selected for the South Australia International Series men's team to be played in Adelaide from Tuesday, May 15.

Following the Australian Sides Championships held at Broadbeach, eight men and eight women were selected by the national selection panel to compete in the six-nation event.

Along with world number four Aron Sherriff, world number two Leif Selby, world number six Brett Wilkie, Commonwealth Games gold medallist Mark Casey, reigning Australian Open pairs champion Nathan Rice, Asia Pacific Championships gold medallist Mark Berghofer and experienced SA all-rounder Wayne Ruediger along with -year-old Dylan Fisher were also selected.

A competitive selection camp will take place in the second half of the year to confirm the final 10-strong World Championships' team who will be entrusted with the nation's shot at world glory.
