All set for Mixed Pairs Championship
Umina Beach Men's Bowling Club will hold the final of its Mixed Pairs Championship next Sunday, July 30.
Steff Heard and Mark Hogden will play Tania Valli and Jazza Bates for the trophy.
In the semi-finals, played yesterday, Sunday, July 23, Steff Heard and Mark Hogden defeated Carol Boyd and Rob Andersen, while Tania Valli and Jazza Bates defeated Lynne Gordon and Tom Burgmann.
The previous Sunday, July 16, saw the quarter-finals played, with the following results.
L Gordon and T Burgmann defeated A Robertson and K Robertson.
S Heard and M Hogden defeated C Gentle and R Merrill.
T Valli and J Bates defeated N McDowall and T Potter on the last end.
C Boyd and R Andersen defeated D Moore and G Simington on the very last bowl.
