Woy Woy Lions score 14 points

After two games without score, Woy Woy's Premier 1 rugby side has scored 14 points in its match against Avoca Beach at the weekend.

It was again a one-sided match against Woy Woy, but Woy Woy did cross for two converted tries late in the match to lose 83-14.

Avoca Beach was at home against Woy Woy at Heazlett Park and dominated from the opening whistle.

The Avoca side went to the halftime break leading by 52 points to nil.

The match was already settled by then.

Woy Woy had a much better second half but was still outscored by 31 points to 14 by the home team.

Best for Woy Woy were flanker Casey Woodford, centre Braydon Mako and prop Sione Fanua.
