Quick thinking prevents spread of kitchen fire
Quick thinking by a local 13year-old has prevented a kitchen fire from escalating past the kitchen.
Umina firefighters said that by using a blanket on the oil fire, and not water, was critical in preventing the fire from spreading.
They suggested adopting a practice of "keep looking when cooking".
