Liesl Tesch makes jacket for parliament

Member for Gosford Ms Liesl Tesch has made her own jacket to wear in State Parliament.

Just over a week ago, on May 7, she posted a picture of her "work-in-progress" on her social media page.

She said that putting in the sleeves, the lapels and the collar and attaching the lining was the hardest.

The brocade was difficult to sew, she said, inviting hints on how to do it.

"Will it be ready for Parliament on Tuesday?" she asked.

The answer was: Yes.

She was pictured wearing it with fellow Members of Parliament Mr Tim Crakanthorp, Ms Charishma Kaliyanda and Ms Lynda Voltz.
