Strategic planning for veterans' support services
A "strategic planning session" will be held on Wednesday to establish a place for enhanced veteran support services on the Central Coast.
The meeting will be held from 10am at Breakers Country Club auditorium, Wamberal.
"Having essential services locally is integral to supporting our veterans," said Member for Gosford Ms Liesl Tesch.
"It's important to plan and listen to ensure we get the best outcome for the community."
She said: "The strategic planning session will provide an opportunity for participants to identify how this opportunity to establish a hub or other capability can be achieved and the needs of veterans and their families met."
She said RSL LifeCare and RSL NSW had been invited by the Department of Veterans' Affairs to submit a grant application for the hub, and RSL members and interested members of the public were invited to attend the planning session.
A light lunch will be available during the meeting.
