School visit mentioned in Federal parliament
Member for Robertson Dr Gordon Reid attended Umina Beach Public School's recent 2023 Reconciliation Day assembly.
He mentioned this visit in a speech in the House of Representatives.
"At Umina Beach, we encourage and actively support our students to dream big," said principal Ms Karen Wardlaw.
"Our ongoing message is that, through harnessing the power of education, you can be anything you want to be.
"For this reason and many others, we're so proud of Dr Reid who enjoyed his primary school years at Umina Beach Public School.
"We were so excited to hear his 'shout out' for our students."
