Charity bowls day held in spring sunshine
The Ettalong Bowling Club's monthly charity bowls day was held in spring sunshine on Sunday, October 15.
The 50 bowlers present started with bowls at 9am, followed by a sausage sizzle then a raffle.
"The spider was won by Frans Herben for the first time," said organiser Mr Ken Dixon.
"Lucky rink winners were John Orme, Greg Elliott and Marg Burns.
"Frans also won multiple prizes in the raffle with the main prize of a bottle of Chivas Regal going to Cassandra Whitney."
The event has raised $2000 for Central Coast Kids in Need in the last two months, he said.
The next event will be held from 9am on Sunday, November 19.
