Paddleboarders hold Halloween charity parade

A stand-up paddleboard business and a yoga instructor have combined for a charity Halloween parade that has raised $130 for the Central Coast Disabled Surfers Association.

The event took place in Ettalong on Sunday.

"Local stand-up paddleboard enthusiasts, dressed as witches and warlocks, gathered on the beach parading from Bombora SUP past the Box Cafe to the Ettalong boat ramp," said organiser Ms Tina Vella.

"This is a regular fundraising event that has been run for the past three years during Halloween by SUP and Yoga with Tina," she said.

"Locals and visitors to the area watched, taking photos and waving as the group paddled by.

"Onlookers were surprised when the paddling group landed on the beach at the cafe for a pop-up Time Warp dance."
