Veteran singles to be played on Sunday
Umina Beach Men's Bowling Club's Veteran Singles Championship second semi-final was played on Tuesday, October 24, between Roger Twells and Peter Springett.
Roger defeated Peter and will now play against Don Stephens in the final.
The final will be played on Sunday, November 5.
The club's Veteran Pairs Championship got underway with its first round games played in the afternoon of the same day.
Rex Hunt and Tom Burgmann defeated Brian Wood and Steve Stead.
Lindsay Hicks and Ted Gentle defeated Michael Dewez and Steve Moss.
Other first round games are scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday, afternoon.
