Runner to speak to ABC Friends meeting
Ultra-marathon runner Mr Pat Farmer will speak at a meeting of ABC Friends Central Coast at the Everglades Country Club on Thursday, December 14.
The Federal Liberal Member for Macarthur from 2001 to 2010 will speak to ABC Friends members and friends about his 14,400km run around Australia to raise awareness and support for the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders Voice to Parliament.
He said he would support his talk with visual material and would also reflect on the referendum.
The talk will be held from 11am to 12.30pm in the Star Room, and will be the ABC Friends' final function for the year.
Tickets are free but bookings are required due to limited seating.
Lunch will be available after the event at the Everglades.
