Preparing for disabled surfers' season
The Central Coast Disabled Surfers Association will hold its first event of the season from 9am to 1pm on Saturday, December 2, at Umina Beach.
The association held a training session (pictured) last Saturday, November 25, in preparation for the event.
"We are short of volunteers and would love to be able to invite all the surfers on our waitlist," said association president Ms Rae Fletcher.
"If you are free on the morning of December 2, please consider volunteering."
She said the training session was not mandatory.
Volunteer event photographers are wanted to capture the surfers in action.
