Tennis players have an early Christmas lunch
The Pearl Beach Tennis and Bowls group has had an early Christmas lunch at Davistown recently.
The social tennis players caught the ferry from Woy Woy, then caught the club bus or took a leisurely stroll to the RSL for lunch.
The tennis playing year hasn't finished yet at Pearl Beach, and the group is planning to be on the courts all through December.
The group uses synthetic grass tennis courts and a lawn bowls green alongside the Pearl Beach Arboretum.
It has play equipment for small children, picnic tables, and plenty of grass to kick a ball around or set up a wicket.
"Play often stops to observe the abundance of wildlife including wallabies and their babies, echidnas, flocks of black cockatoo flying overhead, and our resident family of tawny frogmouths," according to the organisers.
