Shoppers urged to check their receipts
Member for Gosford Ms Liesl Tesch has urged shoppers to check that their receipts match their purchases at the grocery store.
Ms Tesch has taken up discrepancies brought to her attention by Mr Bob Peel of Blackwall.
"Bob has revealed numerous discrepancies in his receipts when shopping at Woolworths Umina," she said.
"I will write to Woolworths Umina and Fair Trading on his behalf and for customers across our community to ensure that specials, checkouts and the types of fruit and vegetables as well as the weighing instrumentation is consistent and fair across the store."
