Corn Nut Creek to sing at folk club

Folk-singing duo Corn Nut Creek will perform at the Troubadour Folk Club at Everglades Club in Woy Woy at 7pm on Saturday, June 24.

Danielle Vita and Tanya Bradley, who hail from New York and Melbourne, met in Hong Kong 10 years ago.

"They are storytellers and have been internationally awarded for their incredibly beautiful music," said folk club secretary Ms MaryAnne Howland

Supporting Corn Nut Creek will be award-winning Australian bassist and singer Kimberley Wheeler.

"These three exciting musicians sometimes perform as a trio and the Troubadour Club is delighted to present all three during this special night," said Ms Howland.

"Their spellbinding songs draw from Appalachian roots and will transport you with three-part vocal harmonies and toe-tapping fiddle and banjo.

"Their show is touring folk venues throughout Victoria and NSW and Woy Woy has been lucky to make it onto their tour schedule."

Tickets are available at https://www.trybooking.com/CHDAC or through the Troubadour website www.troubadour.org.au.
