Aboriginal-themed shirts delivered early

Aboriginal-themed shirts for students at Woy Woy Public School have been delivered early.

"What a fantastic surprise as we were not expecting them until Term 3," said principal Ms Ona Buckley.

"We have them all sorted and ready for purchase.

"There is a limit of one shirt per student. The shirts are $20.

"There is a size range for you to try on if you are unsure of what size your child needs."

Fellow principal Mr Dan Betts said: "Please remember these shirts are only worn by staff, our Aunties and students on Wednesdays.

"This is the day we recognise and celebrate our First Nations peoples and our connection with community.

"What a colourful and proud school we will be on Wednesdays.

"The Preschool will have these shirts as their preschool shirt and, if parents wish, children can wear them on their preschool days.

"We have ordered enough shirts in a range of sizes to cater for everyone."
