College student is women's golf champion of champions
A Brisbane Water Secondary College student has won the Central Coast Women's Golf Association's 2023 Champion of Champions competition played at the Everglades Country Club on Monday, October 30.
Everglades golfer Georgie Clune won with a scored 71, having a personal best round
and also breaking the course record at Everglades by four.
She also claimed the 49 years and under age championship.
Other age group winners were Yvonne Boardman (50 years) from Toukley with a score of 83, Kim Burke (60 years) from Shelly Beach-Magenta with 79, Dianne Thomlinson (70 years) from Magenta with 90 and Judy Dind (80 years) from Toukley with 106.
