Troubadour Concert will feature two ensembles
The Troubadour Folk Club's concert at 2pm on Sunday, November 26, at the Everglades Country Club, will feature two accomplished ensembles, according to club president Mr Michael Fine.
The theme will be music for the world, drawn from across the globe.
The first is Verve Harmony, an acappella vocal group that shares a love of singing in harmony.
The Central Coast community-based choir gives its debut concert, led by Elizabeth W
Scott, who comes from New York and has worked across many music genres.
The choir presents a diverse mix of choral works including from African, African-American, indigenous, and eastern and western European folk traditions.

The Jaga Band is the other ensemble, which has entertained audiences for nearly a decade.
It has a "distinctive celebration of traditional songs and dances", inspired from across the Carpathian region, with rich and diverse in influences from Ukraine, Hungary, Moldova and Romania, said Mr Fine.
Led by multi-instrumentalist and singer Mar'yana Sywak, the band has been raising funds for the Ukrainian people by joining forces with many international musicians.
"These incredibly talented musicians will take you on a musical journey to the land of Cossacks of the past and heroes of the present," said Mr Fine.
"They will bring to life traditional songs of love, hope and celebration of life."
Part of the proceeds from this concert will be donated to those in need in Ukraine.
