Rotary club to hold annual volunteers' Christmas lunch
The Rotary Club of Umina Beach will hold its Peninsula Volunteers Annual Christmas Lunch from noon on Thursday, November 30.
"This is an opportunity to celebrate the wonderful Peninsula volunteers who are a vital connection to our community and make it a better place," said club president Mr Wayne Dowdle.
"They have a positive impact on our community by helping with the smallest tasks that can make a real difference to the lives of people, animals, and organizations in need."
All Peninsula volunteers are welcome to the lunch.
"We look forward to celebrating your wonderful generosity and kindness in volunteering."
The cost of the lunch is $10, with each person attending receiving a $10 voucher for drinks.
Payments must be received by November 17, by electronic funds transfer to the club at BSB 633-000, account 163 094 592 with a reference of the payee volunteer's organisation name.
