Visitor information centre seeks volunteers

The Ettalong Visitor Information Centre is seeking volunteers to work from four to eight hours a week.

"We welcome new volunteers to join the Visitor Information Centre," said Ettalong Diggers tourism manager Ms Kim Cole.

"Our Visitor Information Centre staff and volunteers are the friendly faces that our visitors are greeted with when they arrive into Ettalong Beach.

"Our volunteers play a crucial role as ambassadors to provide high quality and trusted information.

"Volunteering is a great way to be part of your community and share your expert local knowledge."

Ms Cole said volunteers must have basic computer and administration skills, offer friendly and welcoming customer service, and be able to work in a team.

"A high level of motivation, enthusiasm and a commitment to promoting the products of the region, together with a broad knowledge of the Central Coast will assist you in this role," said Ms Cole.

"On-the-job training is provided.

"Volunteers will be required to work a minimum of four hours and a maximum of eight hours per week."

For further information, email kim.cole@ettalongdiggers.com or phone 4343 0140.
