Ettalong charity bowls raises $1000
Ettalong Bowling Club's monthly charity bowls day on Sunday, September 24, attracted 42 lawn bowlers.
A game of bowls in the morning was followed by a cold meat and salad lunch followed by an auction and raffle, said organiser Mr Ken Dixon.
The spider was won by Sharon Wakelin, the winning rink prize went to Kerry Watkins, Neil Puls and Alec Aked.
The seashore print was auctioned and Phil McWhirter was the highest bidder.
With Ettalong Wednesday bowlers making a much appreciation donation, the day raised $1000 for Central Coast Kids in Need.
The next event will be held on Sunday, October 15.
