Cooking competition held at Umina CWA

The Umina Beach branch of the Country Women's Association held a cooking competition on Saturday, September 30.

It was judged by Ms Judy Betteridge.

The winners were:

Buttercake : 1 Ms Margaret Key, 2 Ms Brooke Law, 3 Ms Fiona Duckworth.

Orange Jaffa Cake: 1 Ms Celia O'Meara, 2 Ms Glenda Chapman, 3 Ms Louise Johnson.

Moist Apricot Roll: 1 Ms Fiona Duckworth, 2 Mr Tony Griffiths, 3 Mr Kay Kennaugh.

Remembrance Biscuits: 1 Ms Lin Griffiths, 2 Ms Glenda Chapman, 3 Celia O'Meara, Highly-commended Ms Margaret Key.

Zucchini and Capsicum Pickle: 1 Ms Lou Johnson, 2 Ms Lin Griffiths, 3 Ms Fiona Duckworth.

Carrot and Lemon Jam: 1 Ms Lin Griffiths, 2 Ms Glenda Chapman, 3 Ms Margaret Key and Ms Celia O'Meara.
