Grants to local groups

The Everglades Country Club has recently awarded 20 groups with ClubGrants totalling almost $72,000.

The grants were presented at an afternoon tea on Tuesday, September 24.

"The funding provided assists groups that may not have been able to secure financial assistance through other means and helps to ensure valued services and projects continue to be delivered within our community," said general manager Mr Ross Seabrook.

"It was a truly humbling afternoon where we heard about all the incredible work that these organisations do to help those in our community."

Among those attending were: Rotary Brisbane Water, Brisbane Water Secondary College Woy Woy Campus, Ettalong Public School, Woy Woy South Public School P/C, Everglades Wednesday Tenner, Peninsula Ducks Softball Club, Woy Woy Peninsula Community Garden, Peninsula Junior Touch, Roosters Social Golf Club, Southern and Ettalong United Football Club, Swampies, TKT Ocean Beach Netball Club, Woy Woy Football Club, Woy Woy Recreational Physical Culture Club, Umina United and Circle Social Golf Club.
