Official 'farewell' as Jane steps down from presidency
The Woy Woy branch of the Country Women's Association has officially farewelled Ms Jane Bowtell as its long-serving president.
Although not continuing as president, she will stay on as the branch publicity officer.
Ms Bowtell unofficially stepped down from the presidency about a month ago.
"We thought it only fitting to celebrate her properly at our monthly meeting," said incoming president Ms Margy Ure.
"Thank you, Jane, for all you have done to build this branch into what it is today.
"From a branch on the verge of closure to now a community of over 50 women, we are so grateful for all you have done and will continue to do."
