Ettalong holds 'shelter in place' drill
Ettalong Public School has held a "Shelter in Place" drill for its students.
It was one of the safety activities that a school must undertake, as well as for evacuation and lock-downs, said principal Ms Jodie Campbell.
"This would occur if there was an impending bushfire in our area and we were unable to evacuate off-site due to an ember attack.
"Our school is listed as a Category 3.
"There will be further information early next term."
