Auditions now for October production

Woy Woy Little Theatre will hold auditions for the play Don't Dress for Dinner from 7pm on Wednesday, April 19.

The rehearsals will be held at The Peninsula Theatre, for the play which will be staged from October 27 to November 12.

The play by Marc Camoletti, adapted by Robin Hawdon, will be directed by Penny Dilworth.

The play is described as "a funny French farce complete with five doors".

"It will be a knee-slapping end to the year after two mystery whodunits," said Ms Dilworth.

Auditions are being held for five characters.

Bernard is aged 30-55 and a bit of a schemer.

Jacqueline, also 30-55, is his wife.

Robert is the same age and is Bernard's best friend and Jacqueline's lover.

"He tries to please all but is caught in the middle," said Ms Dilworth.

Suzanne is aged 20-45, is Bernard's girlfriend and is described as a model.

Suzette is the hired cook, aged 25-50.

George is Suzette's husband, aged 25-55, who doesn't appear until Act Two.
