Two new classes offered at arts and crafts centre

Ettalong Beach Arts and Crafts Centre will offer two new classes for the coming term which starts on May 1.

Following the success of a recent half-day floristry workshop, the centre will offer an eight-week floristry class starting on Tuesday, May 2.

"The class will explore all aspects of creating stunning flower arrangements and bouquets," said committee member Mr Keith Weir.

"The class will be for two hours a week, from 10am to noon, and will cost $116, plus a weekly charge for the flowers and other materials which will be supplied by the tutor.

"Tutor Amy Harrison is a local florist who has many years of floristry experience and is also currently a tutor at Tafe."

The centre will also offer a second painting class this term, which will run on Thursdays, starting on on May 4.

Mr Weir said tutor Ms Naomi Veitch would offer a second class "due to popular demand".

This class will run for nine weeks from 4pm to 7pm and will cost $195.

Enquiries can be made through the Centre's website www.ebacc.com.au or by calling 0412 155 391.
