Women's health centre program released

Peninsula Women's Health Centre has released its Term 2 program.

Activities are run on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, as well as a Friday walking group.

A creative care group and a "Mums and Bubs return to Exercise" class are run on Tuesday.

Both start on May 23, with the exercise class starting at 9:30am and the care group starting at 11am.

Four activities will be run on Wednesdays.

Gentle yoga will run at 9am for six weeks from May 10.

Lomi Lomi massage 45-minute appointments will be offered from May 24.

Baby massage will be offered in a four-week group from 10:30am on Wednesdays from June 7.

A Positive Parenting Program will be offered from 12:30pm to 2:30pm over five weeks from May 24.

A four-week course about managing anxiety will be offered on Thursdays at 10am from June 8.

Most activities come at a small cost or for a donation.

A women's health clinic operates on the first Wednesday of each month at the women's health centre.

It is run by a registered nurse and is free to all women who are eligible for Medicare benefits.

Appointments are necessary and should be made with the Wyoming GP centre on 4324 2533.
