Umina school raises $30,000 through splashathon

The splashathon at Umina Beach Public School has raised more than $30,000 for the school.

School principal Ms Karen Wardlaw said: "Splashathon 2023 was all about teamwork and community spirit.

"It highlighted the best of everything about our students, teachers, parents and community all working together, sharing experiences and making wonderful memories.

"Enormous thanks goes to Umina Beach Public School P/C and our parent helpers for all their hard work and effort.

"I trust that all our families enjoy the next few weeks together before we come back, and do it all over again."

Parents and Citizens' Association president Kristy said: "All Splashathon winners will be announced in the first few weeks of next term as we are still tallying up the final numbers.

"It's a very tight race for those top classes and prizes!

"The sponsorship link will still be open over the holidays, if anyone wants to collect some last-minute online payments.

"For now though, enjoy the break Umina Beach Public School!

"The P/C is so grateful for your support and enthusiasm and hope you all have a healthy and happy school holiday.
